Sophia was born and raised in a small, conservative town in South Carolina called Barnwell.
To this day, I refer to her as “The First Lady of the Lowcountry”. Sophia has that perfect blend of Southern sweetness, sass, and determination, which makes you believe that she can run a household or the United States with grace and ease. We became fast friends due to our mutual love of skin and hair care products, wine, fashion, and an appreciation for anything fabulous.
I met one of my best friends, Sophia, in Charleston, SC in 1998.
